Collision of Mad Minds

For a fortnight ago
People stood in the flow
Of the near river bed
And the perspective was red
Nothing was said
But it was put to chance that night
That there would be a fight
Blood was shed
And the next morning the sun rose blood red
Though not was said
Many were dead
The call shook the nation
The call by segregation
We walk in shame
Whom do you blame?
When the battles are fought
We win, they lose, time to taunt
Say their names like total dismay
A bullet from every gun ignites the flame
And we say oh my gosh
What do we do?
There is evil afoot
Everyone's covered in soot
From the bombs
There are moms
Weeping for their lost sons
But there's a generation
Rising up to take to take the nation 
By storm
To start a reform
We fly to unite
We  ignite the fire
As the battle is the deciding factor
Of who the versus
To every nurse
Who fixes the hurts
As we write this verse
We don't rehearse
The words
We let the bombs fly
And see where they lie
Explosion the cause of 
Motion
A figurative notion
We all ride the wave as
As we must sail across
The seas, swift as a sparrow
Our bones with their marrow
Shake with anticipation
Looking for the soon coming reformation
Of the world we once knew
With a sky so blue
Such a marvelous hue
I can't wait to see you
To see, to believe
The realization of 
Images as they beseech me
The life of controversy
Nothing to see
But only we believe
In the future we see
It's all very real to me
I, us, you, we
We're all the same
We all share the blame
In this world we're slowly destroying
We come together as one
To see the rising Son
The Son we see is Jesus
And He is as real to me as you
Believed it was true
We understood the past 
As we walked the present
To fight back
But yet we are hesitant
About the future we
Hold for glory as come to hold
We fight on to the one that we know
For people to understand
They throw out their hands
In regards to self worth
They claim their turf
If living is a lie untold
We all watn to unfold
The dreaded war
Among the civilians
That were lost
Only one has to pay the cost

No longer are we lost
It's not going to be another holocaust
No more wars
No closed doors
Keeping secrets
That tears apart family units
That left people broken
And tempers smoking
As people walk out
Having one las shout
Telling the tellers
Who speaketh in the name of doubt?
Supersede the racious creed
Lead the path of travel
And watch how it all unravels
Who knows
How the future goes
All we can do is strive
To try to survive
In this concrete world
Of almost solid grey
We toss and turn trying to escape the fray
It's gonna be okay
As we allude to the new perspective
It's an illusion to the trained eye
We wake andd strive through
The day
Howmuch we pay
Attention to the world around
We fly high and safe and sound
Quiet as can be
We open our tired eyes
To see the world as we view
Because life is cold and blue
Pain as the ice collides
We analyze
And ask the question
Why?
Why do we defy?
If our eyes were clear
If our ears could really hear
We would be amazed
And thoroughly dazed
As we finally understand
All of life's harsh demands
We finally comprehend
And try to amend
What we have done wrong
We sing a song
About the One who saved us
And created us
The creations He makes
The people who He saves
Gives us the day to give thanks
We apprehend the reason
The reason we live each day
As we walk along the clouds
We sing out lound
To praise His name
We are equal and the same
In His eyes we are not to blame
We as humans
Fight the night
To only justifly what's right
When we die
We spread our wings to fly
To the open doors of gold
Where we will forever hold
Eyes of blue, hair of silk
As the sun shines,
Gleams in the night
The Creator makes the world right
In His name we cry Amen
As we rise to Him again
