Everyday that we were apart I got so lost,but wanted to be found
I prayed to see your face so many times
I wish that it was all a dream
A dream that I could wake up from
I know I'll find you after I search for you again
You were lost for so long
You found your way back to me
Cause our love is like no other
I want you to lay it down,but you let the demons take you again
Our love is like angels
I hope and pray you will come back to me
Our love has been abused for so many years
It stopped awhile when my heart shattered
Did you see the glass?
Life is coming back to our life
I hated feeling lost and you found me
I know you are lost and I'm trying to find you
Please look for the light that leads you back to me
I'm not going to stop looking for you
I won't let you go never worry about that
You will be the death of me
I feel like I'm wasting breath
I love you so I hold on
I will never leave you because you never left me
I was lost and you found me
If it takes forever to find you I will be there waiting for you
You will be the death of me
My love for you has no boundaries
We have overcome so much
But our love is like blood
It runs through our veins and right to our hearts
To give up now would stop the blood flow and be the death of us

This poem I wrote two years ago to my husband which is now soon to be ex husband he just couldn't fight the demons and started psychically abusing me so with mental,verbal,and psychical abuse I just couldn't do it anymore but wanted to share this to see what ppl thought of it
It is a cathartic write letting you come to terms with what's happening. It also informs your husband, at the time, of his decline into darkness threatening love.
It is an extraordinarily courageous and sensible approach allowing you and your husband a chance to reflect on the course of events and to seek some form of settlement.

Michelle, terrific poetry, read it a few times actually....it has this stream-of-consciousness feel that may not fit conventional poetic structure, but nonetheless effectively expresses the poet's raw emotions, you also use repetition with good results....the reader was emotionally drawn in as well, you write very well, with a unique style of your own....awesome work, cheers poet

Thank you cause I was always self conscious about letting people read my poetry but I said to myself you got to do this cause it gives you peace of mind your body and soul.
