Poem -

Commercial Break

You imprisoned me here in this country;
whilst starved of love and beauty, written:
madness mine, a eulogy...
to all that we have forgotten.

I'm no hero, though I will swear,
there are things I dared to do,
never surrendering to you,
evil's conjures, or a murderous haiku.

I was never cruel in this great charade,
I've been annihilated, to forfeit the game,
I had no voice, for I had no choice,
You destroy all that you cannot name.

God, Dreams so Goliath you'd think we were mad,
and while we never blinked did we even care,
about all the shit we once had,
Have you ever wanted it all back?
