Commiserating Aches

Everything hurts these days
as pain rides shotgun with me
probably for the balance
of this journey

I'm sure you don't wanna hear
my litany of aches
since you got your own issues
though maybe if we share
our hurtful relationship with life

it can be a soothing
mutual human distraction

Misery does indeed need company
