Complicated

People say act on what you feel

But is that really how they feel

Or are they just acting

Trying to be real

Misleading more like it

Back talk rolled up in talking back

Getting you to like it

Same thing between the lines

Is there a reason

That actions amplified to the world should depend on current, compulsive feelings 

Digested through spoon-feeding from foolish members of your own thoughts

Assembled well with horrid teamwork

Craving inclusion

Seems right

Has to

But think "Is it real, can it be"

That I may act on such things as cruelty,and treachery

Defective lies that work occasionally

If and only if you happen to be weak and misguided 

Abominable quotes on "Follow my non-sense"

Sins own conscience 

Ceaselessly stale nutrition for the mind

Leaving no less then trails of lectures, lessons, and formulas

For happiness, success, and love that went in one ear and out the other

Doing what you can for fear of not accomplishing what you want to

Is there no end

How can you act on what you feel

When everyone feels the same
