Concupiscence

...For God says life should be destroyed,
The bounteous kiss, be it forged in love, of any whore is void
So limbs should be rent from holding flesh
As demon teases with red iron and lash
Whilst reason, pricked by conscience, slowly drips
Into cup of concupiscence that merely teases lips...
