A Confession

AS the days go by,
We both keep aging,
As I hide the truth from you.
I watch you break a scale that beauty cannot bind.
I travel years near you,
Only to remind myself of what can't be mine.
Everyday, my heart yearns for you.
Every hour, I wish to be with you.
Every minute, I live to love you.
You're oblivious to these things I say.
For if you noticed,
You'd speak your mind.
I hide all this inside,
For the fear of being pushed away.
We are alone in this room,
Your eyes are closed,
And I can see the pain.
Let me be the one to hold your hands,
And let me be the open arms you fall into.
I can't hold it in any longer,
So now I'm bursting open.

Nice confession, must be such a relief., and may you fall into each others arms and confess sweet love as one.
Thank you.
Kylie,
A distant love in miles, though forever so close, is he to she in heart and in mind. Words that won’t kill but surely hurts to the bone. He her rock of Gibraltar in her heart and  mind, though  at the times he should have been her pillow, to cushion each and every time she has fallen, from the hurt of  his painful antics, wasn't to be. A misplaced love by he to her, on a pedestal she should be, a hand unheld
when enabled by closed fisted, a heart full of arrows, though not through the yielding of cupids dead aim but from the many times she has been wounded, left alone or mistrusted, by his freely spoken words of self induced atonement with malice, by he to her. A lonely heart wanting only to be content and once
again be whole in statue……Very pretty but lonely poem….
Kind regards,
Jim
