CONFINEMENT

In the filtering light of dusk
Love sleeps in the embrace of the night
The darkness moulded in obscurity
Was but an illusion
The burgeoning fullness of life
Conceived in the womb
Where dreams stare at the world anon
Bursts through the dam of despair
And fulfillment gave birth to the dawn
