Confounded and Confused ??

Confounded and Confused ??

She is in a mixed up muddle and making her daughter’s amused
Coz her insomnia is insufferable and her brain is overused
This poor soul has lost her car keys so she’s confounded and confused
Well if she threw them in the dustbin they will be battered and bruised

You see she knocked a wall over and the bricks are in the bin
Her car wing is cracked from that terrible din
Now her garage needs built up again from a big hole within
And yes she got some stick
but she took that on the chin

So she has hunted in all of those familiar places
As each one of her family make her remember her retraces
Yet not one of them are sympathetic with their hilarious faces
But Thank the Lord she’s found her car keys inside her holiday cases

Of course they had to be in there she is going on a trip
And they had fallen from her fingers and slipped through a zip
Eeh all of this bamboozlement is making her flip
“To hell with the lot of you “ she shouts and goes to bed for a kip
