Poem -

Consuming

I've loved you from afar, close at heart, couldn't touch. You were my every thought. Underneath that street light, for the first time, I felt love.

The light I see in your eyes puts the stars to shame, beauty beyond words, your smell intoxicates me, I'm high.

Now you're all that consumes me, my every thought, my every need, I want this high to last a lifetime between you and me.
