Contriversy

A person's right to choose

It's your body- what's there to lose?

The fetus did not choose to be

Yet it's not fair to just so harshly

Good homes are scarce and some people who are parents do not wish to be

And sometimes babies don't form perfectly

If the greatest love and mercy I can show

Is to let my unborn baby go

Before the pain and torture can begin

The how could I, as a mother, not make it so?

I've not made this choice; there's been no need

But instead of judgement I choose mercy
