Convensing My shadow I'm worth following

I tried to introduce him
I've tried bragging about him
but I've noticed He doesn't need introductions
He doesn't need an trail and error
He doesn't need to be questioned
doesn't need a test dummy

This man gives me anything I need
and shocks me every so often with something I want
I don't need to Volcano surf or
jump out of a plane, bungee jump
or even climb Mount Everest
just to know how good He is

I don't need an Adrenaline Rush
or new scars to replace the old lines He fixed
I don't need to experience 
a sudden death encounter
just to tell people He is real

He is so good to me
that the only way to stand by him is on my knees
some people ask
why follow or boast about a shadow I cant see

So I tell them "I can't boast about my love for Him
cause I fail Him daily but I can
boast about His love for me cause 
He will never fail me at all"

And if he is not real
I wasted my life
but if he is real you
You wasted your eternity
than He convinced you

That when you follow Him
you don't need an contract
cause He cant find your blood anywhere
