Poem -
CORRUPTIVE SOULS
Out of created darkness
A spark of light did shine
Revealing the blindness
Of souls defiled
Unable to reach
Their heavenly goals
Cursed by the darkness
Were their condemned souls
But the light saw their awful plight
Stumbling in their minds madness
In forever night
Love and compassion
Moved the light
And with a deliberate thrust
Dispelled the night
Liberated by the light
Their souls became alive
Knowing good and evil
With a choice to survive
But the darkness was embedded
In their depraved minds
And with lips of serpents
They cursed the light.

More than nicely penned and all the dark imagery cast through-out.
And a cruel chance game of hope offered then hope rejected absolutely by too far gone entrenched and forever tainted/cursed souls.
Great imaginative write and morality message and enjoyed from beginning to end.

it from the poetry grave.. as it should.
Those that love the light.. comes to the light. And their lives are transformed.

Hey Wilford and thank you and I have the time in the next few days away from work to make a bee-line for members I've been meaning to look at, but time would not allow or to be honest just too jaded after a demanding day.
So here I am and your poetry flows and beats not well, but MUCH more than well.
