Poem -
Cosmic Torture
I will go to the stream near the woods
Remove my many disguises
For now, this day
I've decided to reveal myself
For the fool I am,
The man I've been,
And pray
For understanding,
For it is there
In my nakedness
That God first sent me into this world
And,
It is how I will be presented
On judgment day,
And,
It's the manner in which
I give & pray
That I will drink Love in
With no disguises
In flesh alone,
And virginally
I will open my soul
To the cosmic
Torture,
I know,
I deserve.....

His light comes streaming down
I am bathed in His omniscience
My head is reverently bown

He cleanses me of my wanton past
My slate He wipes all clean
He ends my "Cosmic Torture"
With His knowledge that I glean
