Counterpart.

How often do you think of her about that last embrace
We're there tears of angels glistening from her pretty face

At night do you want to hold her
Fold her in your loving arms confide

Do you miss her arms around you, the love the hope and pride

Do you recall the voice she spoke when she'd sing the birds were silent

How could love become so shallow, in the depths of something violent

Can you forgive the echos the empty walls and open doors

The imperfect love in rawness the underlying flaws

The empty bed and draws she leaves, the sound of silence as she breathes

The call that never comes and you hope with all your heart

Because she made that promise to never part

And so the lonely days and nights
Counterpart the ways of sorrow

Because in every whispered cry you face without her now tomorrow
