In the course of love

A young boy gave it all

Not knowing what comes above

Told her of his feelings great and small,

She beamed as if she understood

But deep down her unfilled heart

That was not her intended part

He let her realize he will not love again

She went on beaming with an unknown disdain

Unheard of, to the poor boy, an arriving storm

Oh! How much did nature wished to have him inform

But he was in eagerness against his mind…

For at that instant the world was the safest place

And he so much cared less if his heart beats out to space

Then it came upon him like a mysterious happening

When the beaming girl shed a cold tear

It came to his unwary knowing a certain fear

And he said ‘‘what is it that has your face to smear’’

And she said unto him, ‘’I have another to love but not thee’’

What war could be fought without death?

What young will want to age without pain?

The boys dream and hope shattered in his own sight

For the will to talk has turned to misery from might

If this is heart break, let nature perish

If this heart breaks, let hatred flourish

The boy’s once pure heart is now full of blemish

‘’I beg of thee, let me for once love you’’ he said

In his hearing he couldn’t believe as true his voice trembles

The girl, very much in a state of fright, touches her temples

‘’if I love thee for once, I fear I shall break a heart’’

Head cast down like a vegetables from father’s farm

Tears dropping from his red eyes to his shaky arms

He said ‘’but for once only I dream to be in love, and once

Only I shall be. With you my lady, with you indeed’’

He knelt down in front of her and proclaimed words unheard

Unto her hearings, with tears and honesty he spoke as if

It was his own funeral he was reading a verse from the holy book

 Her heart was torn into shreds of nothingness and a state of uncertainty she assumed

‘’if I shall love thee for long I do not know, for ever I still do

Not know, but for now, I do know that I love thee'''
