Covid-19

The world is much scarier than before
we can't give hugs or kisses anymore
the queues outside of shops run for miles
and the world is full of frowns instead of smiles
instead of going out we're all on lockdown
when you look outside it's like a ghost town
all you hear about is people dying
and their grieving families who must be crying
the doctors and nurses who are being so brave
and all of the people they are trying to save
social distancing, wearing masks, is this what it's come to
I guess in our own way we're all just trying to get through
some say the worst is yet to come, others say the end is near
I say who knows what will happen the future isn't clear
if this pandemic has taught us anything it's that we don't know what the future holds
we all just need to stick together and see how covid-19 unfolds
