Covid Operation

We Will Be Free

Covid Operation

I'm deep undercover, a locked down lover
No one to love or touch, town is another country
You're emaciated, forgot to buy wheat
Take a lesson from Jacob, he sent his sons
to purchaseΒ
Much food before the famine

Yes, this headquarters that I can't stray from
It is prison, once it was a kingdom
I could leave, revel in freedom
Lost in the night, somewhere with someone
Care-free moments like rivers that run
Shooting with a heart-shaped gun

And I'm aiming for another day, another chance
To make things better, starting with me
I'm emaciated in my soul, I hunger
For more than wheat, material or love
But life everlasting
This operation will be over...we will be free.

(This is dedicated to all those whose lives were taken by this terrible virus that's caused so much pain and suffering, and still does. God bless everyone affected by it. Pray without ceasing and have faith. This too shall pass. Peace, everyone.)
