Koi

Coy-

Like the koi fish,

Is very subtle.

Its moves gracefully throughout the pond

And attracts the eye of all who pass by.

Especially myself

Who cannot resist

The sultry brightness of a boy

Who can barely get out of his pond.

And the shy, sweetness lures you over

Until you empty your heart out into the pond

And it sinks below the surface-

And the coy little koi begins to laugh-

And the water begins to become a little more salty.
