In the Crack

In the Crack

through the crack,

a glimmer, a light

darkness covers,

a fretful night.

We walk the shore,

Sand in our toes,

a light that exist,

scorned by shadow,

will tend to bend

through the crack, a glimmer of light

warmth to the touch

cold to the eye.

Things you see, shadows born in light

Reality, asleep in a dream.

Ambiguous scenes

Drowning beliefs

A soothing breeze

Wakes me up,

A crack of light

Sirens in the night

Take my every breath

exhale the light
