For the

powerful
that
the slaves

Although I DON'T agree with the totality of this piece....I gotta give you high fives for intent!!..... also..... cool formatting!!......ALL STARS!!... well done brother poet!!......LOVE and ROCKETS!!......T xo ?✳✴♥☀???
Tony thank you very much for your feedback. I wrote this with the purpose of creating disagreement with my readers. As a former Probation Officer, I just do not believe the term "disease" is a good term for addicts, as I see the term being used to getting them off the hook for the decisions they made.
A disease says they could not help it. I don't like that terminology. I smoke and it is my fault and no other else's fault.
Thank you
Greg
Very cool brother poet!!.....I was pretty sure you KNEW you'd catch some flack for playing in the fringes!!..... trouble is..... there's not too many of us on Cosmo that would 'call you out' on your 'proof is in the pudding' flow...... this is HIGHLY subjective subject matter .....that I stand on the side of 'those addicted' with..... nothing against you my friend.... just....."IS what it IS"....... love you and your poetry man!...... peace.......T xo ♥
My Brother Tony, I think it is awesome that you have called me out on this one. I am okay with this. Often we see things from different perspectives and that is ok. Since I was a probation officer, I have a different take on the issue. I am very empathetic with the addict. In fact I have addicts thank me for the support I have given in their road to freedom from this drug. However they also thanked me for holding them accountable, this is why I don't like the word "disease".
