The Crash

Surge of energy,
Running around without their heads.
Feel bad but can't wait for the moment,
When it's off to bed.

Getting tired heavy eyes,
Grumpy attitudes it will pass.
All that candy and junk,
Leads to the crash.

Their off,
Running and screaming,
Next thing I know their out,
Off to the land of dreaming.

Don't know how they can go on like that,
All day without a nap,
Then it's lights out in a flash,
Thank you sugar for the crash.
