Creature Of Habit

Creature Of Habit

disheartened she leeds me to the corner with her guilt

sadness in her eyes but my temper is well-built

not this time, I have seen the darkness in her eyes

I am a steamroller much to her shock and surprise

my defense is a sword cut deep into the gut

justice for myself is surely a must

I need my soul to be whole and not shattered

trust and love is what had truly mattered

shake my boots and my hands from her mistrusts

my heart and soul will no longer rust

do you know what I speak of, do you know what I mean

be empty of what clutters the mind to being free

More than anything I want my poetry to become songs. Please take any and everything that inspires you in anyway and create your beauty. I will be thankful and I will hope to enjoy it very much! How could I not for you are obviously very talented. So take my words and run Tony run to the studio and let your heart pour.  LOVE?
