There amongst the eventide strange sounds come alive

Pipistrelle bats with echolocation duck and dive

Rusty red Foxes with those big bushy tails wander, wildly through urban woodlands with whining wails

Busy Badgers, Beavers and Otters can be found damming up the river banks, burrowing tunnels in the ground

Nocturnal, farsighted, focused vision from our eartlhly delights out on a moonlit mission

Tawny, Barn and Short eared Owls branch amongst a tall oak tree scrutinising for prey clandestinely

Betwixt and between those wee small hours, bright eyes luminate within exquisite powers
