Poem -

creeping nightmares

Long weary nights thinking about failed attempts so tired yet so anxious I can't close my eyes and fall asleep

Nights grow more expansive as the days morph into nights one by one the same way over and over like a printer full of ink printing out copies to be sold

im too scared so I can never turn of the lights because the room grows dark and cold

If it does I will fall asleep among all of the frights the deepest darkest shadows hold the memories of which nightmares are made of

When you fall asleep they seep in slowly like a slimy little worm through one ear and then slowly through the other one leaving painful residue inside your head

Then you dream of a creep and know you had a nightmare in  your head  while you were asleep  because you woke up screaming and crying in your bed

As you sleep and the nightmare comes it's actually a memory sent to me or you which means the dream must be true
