Crescendo

Whether by goodwill or good fortune
Know the stars you paint are never numbered.
And when you pause, if only for a moment
may it not be to count.
But rather to harvest their sweetness
by no tiresome eye
that has stared at so many heavens.

In every great unveiling there travels many prayers,
that dance in their rhythms-
fast or slow...
This world's immortal crescendo.
