Poem -

Nectar

The sweet sacred nectar
 of the Gods
 Seductive
 Your eyes may water
 Your eyes may water
 Your eyes may water
 The Sweet sacred nectar
 this sweet life
all repetitions abounding in their form
 reflections- yes perceptions
 the full spectrum
 each dream in opening
 a budding
 and your eyes may water
 Your eyes may water
 your eyes may water
 and each tear is pure
 of the sheer beauty
 of the word
 that one word
in the beginning was the word
 this is my word
 and the word carries me
 to the next steps
the plane upon which to allow my foot next to land
and where to lift my arm
 to pluck the next fruit
 the source of this nectar
I’ll throw this voice out to the void
 and follow where direction
 compels

The miracle of this flesh
 This sweet sacred nectar
 Your eyes may water
 The miracle of this flesh
 is holding consciousness in shape
the miracle that is the fruit
 I reach towards
 This sweet sacred nectar
 drawn from a well
that spirals to the end of my curls
 and down to my toes.
 This sweet sacred nectar
 your eyes may water

To realize to be loved
 and to have loved
 and to BE love
 is to pluck the fruit
 Of The Sweet Sacred Nectar.
