Crossroads
Although the love remains intact,
We now must stand apart, alone,
Never did I want to see you go,
Now only wishing for your heart to own.
At two different points in our lives we stand,
Hoping, praying that you stay the same,
Although only at the starting line,
For your heart only I will aim.
Thinking back to the times we've spent,
Sharing a love that will never end,
Even if we have to say goodbye,
My love to you I will send.
With time the tears will soon be shed
Yearning only for your warmth to keep,
My dearest friend you'll forever be
Never felt such love, so deep.
Inching closer towards the finish line,
How can we turn back the hands of time?
My confidante you'll forever remain,
And the mountains together we'll climb.

The unintentional absence of malice, yearning for the days of
old, when hand and hand frolicking love, ruled the land, walks in the
spring time as two sharing the heart beat of one for flowers were theirs to
adore their ever emitting scents. Together we were unbreakable apart we shatter
to the touch of the smallest unwanted innuendos a friend, a lover, a confidant,
a partner even a pal, you were to me and those were the days of our cherishable
past that will be missed more than any.
Turning back the hands of time hinges on a dream and if this must be then a
dream is where all things are possible and where you will find me waiting for
you to reach out to me for our new beginning....Strong poem by the poet....and
full of emotions of the heart...A pretty one..
