Poem -

Crushed Heart

You look so beautiful standingĀ
in the pale moon lit night
Watching the stars shine in
the dark velvet night
With blood stained tears that
rolled on your pale whit cheeks
With lips that are red as red
rose petals that bloom

You looked as if you had pain
with no guilt or remorse
As I stared into your eyes that
were dark as the abyss
Darkness swarms around you
on the ground you stand
Washing away your memoriesĀ
in the sands of time

Time slowly fades as theĀ
nights grow cold
And the wind howls on this
dark and gloomy night
You held in your hand aĀ
heart that was red and pureĀ
Watching the blood dripĀ  slowly
to the soil of the earth

I asked you who heart that was
but you did not speak
As I felt a pain in my chest
where my heart once was
You start to close your hand
to crush my beating heart
I felt my life fading away as
my heart turned to dust
