Poem -

Crystalline Heart

Scattered across the floor
lay the crystalline pieces
of my heart.
I dare not move,Ā
I dare not speak,Ā
I dare not break myself further.
The pain I feel can beĀ
seen clearly in fragments andĀ
light across the floor.
Telling a story that was
never meant to to see
the light of day,
but here it is
before me
my story
being cast upon the walls
on repeat
for me to watch
again and again
as the tears flow down
my face.
