Poem -
CUCKOO'S
In all the time you have been gone
Time has not remembered, save...
To rain down it's indifference on
The hollows left behind
On the collar of a raincoat, or the
concrete tread revered now
On the TV stand, which stands alone and
Deeply deep under the bed
And in all the time you have been gone
Time glides by, pays no respect
Tis only dust I ever find
Like cuckoo's
In a long dead nest

Wow the first stanza alone holds so much weight in its words and meaning. Then it just continues to emphasise the pain time provides for so many. Sad yet powerful write x
