Curtain

Curtain

Loud soul with a Pacific veneer
The deepest thoughts I have.
With far more light the sun can hold
Something stops me , my mind ,my
soul

An escape I might be,
A curtain I  might be.

I hide the cries, the pain, the loss
I hide the truth behind the folds
I guard the notion ,the view, the belief.
I treasure the joy, the glee the grief

A saviour I might be,
A curtain I might be.

Not just on the walls, I'm even in you
I protect your emotions, the child inside you.
I'm not perceptible, my voices can be heard.
Your very soul I might be
A curtain I might be.
