Why don't you wanna know me?

Why are you letting things be?

I'm your daughter can't you see.

I want my dad, something I've never had.

Not a step father who doesn't even bother.

I want you to see

I want you to see me, and what I can be.

I don't want you to die, and stay wondering why

you didnt even bother, to try and be my father.

I've been hurt, I keep my Heart on alert.

But one thing a dad should never do,

is have to say "I'm sorry I left you".

I've gone through the hate,

I didnt like that emotional state.

Now I'm trying to be happy and free.

but I can't cause you wont even talk to me.

I'll forgive I promise you that,

I wont even bother to keep a stat

of whose worser then who,

A father and daughter bond should always be true.

I cry sometimes wondering what it would've been like

to have you there to tuck me in and say "goodnight"

I'll never know, and that is sad.

Cause it seems like everyone else I know has their dad.
