Daily Struggles

Battles I must face
Days that drag along 
Nights that scare me
Fights that I have lost
Battles that continue to go on
Wars that I have not yet won
Time that just stands still
Mountains that I have climbed
Roads that I have been down
Hills that I have went up and down
Still I smile this fake smile and go on with my day
For I must fight to stay on track 
Or the depths of hell is where I will find myself
