Daisy Disappear

While...in darkness
I see her behind closed eyes,
Feel the warming sunshine
Glaring from a smile.
A...rare flower
Having the pleasure of watching grow,
In reflection pits I treasure
What filthy hands let wither away.
I'm...haunted by the missing
The way she transformed by day,
Daisy disappeared leaving me forlorned
To suffer the sentence of lifetime.
Why...beautiful blossom did you wilt for me?
This gardener is solemn, and will never tell your lie...

wow, I enjoyed this it speaks to me in images and night shade tones...I see an older gentleman sitting with flowers in his hands kneeling at the graveside of his beloved, with sadness and joy in his soul....not sure if that was the intent, but that came to the reader in one burst of energy...this write seems to come from a very emotional place....it has depth, and the stream is very pure....very cool poetry, Devon....cheers
Chris my man much appreciation to you good sir. I always like when the reader interpretates the poem in his or her own relatable way, i don't want to say your wrong or right because I had two different story lines to this which is one you stated and the other was a stalker killer but what you said I like ao much better. So thankful for these compliments it goes long way for me. Have a good night
