Take a step back from your own reality
And learn to give yourself the chance
Leave all your past of pain behind
My friend, it is now your time to dance

Free your mind from any judgments
Let go of the past and the sorrow
Find a place to grieve and mourn in peace
And know it’s your footing you will regain tomorrow

Life will become a long, cancerous tumor
And like a tumor if you let it, it will continue to grow
When you ignore your own failures, or continue in blindness
You forget how to love and forget to let go

The one’s we know we truly love on earth
Will never leave our hearts or mind
When we stop fighting the world by ourselves
We stop long enough to remember their love was kind

Push back and learn to say “No More!”
You have a right to walk away from all the chaotic crap
They will learn to clean it up themselves in time
Remove yourself from the deceit of the immovable pact

You will have to wade through so much muck and mire
Before you find the light to true happiness
Learn to address your own life issues in the silence of your mind
Stop the thoughts that made you always second-guess

You lose so much through anger and judgments
And each person you see you are again reminded
Learn to laugh despite the tears and pain
Work through the anger and you will see the real blindness

Tomorrow will be a brand new day
Let God’s sun warm your inner light
Smile once again at the world
If you give up the weapons, you will not lose the fight

Thoughts can be changed, and you will relearn
That you can change your own minds inner beliefs
Bury the past and you will learn to walk on once again
Because life waits no more, while you walk on in your sleep

When you find yourself in indecision
Take a step back and to examine your minds confusion
Drop the hustle, blame and manipulations
They are not true beliefs they are just your own illusions

Smile back from your heart and learn to reach out
Plant new seeds and take a chance
When you clear out the pain you will reawaken
And in love’s safety you will learn a new dance…
