DANCING THROUGH THE DECADES

DANCING THROUGH THE DECADES

In the fifties to the dance hall we went
It was how our Friday nights were duly spent
Alternate weeks spent at The Roxy and Ritz
Both of us dancing to the latest hits

During the sixties when rock and roll came out
We were still dancing and doing the twist and shout
It was the seventies when our dancing reached its peak
We both went disco dancing every night of the week

When the eighties arrived it was the turn of electro pop
Both of us still enjoyed dancing we didn't want to stop
So came the nineties and we decided to dance no more
Dancing however bought us closer together that is for sure
