DARK GLASSES HIDDEN SECRETS

She wore dark glasses into town todayĀ
Looked like a fifties film star I have to say
Wore them for a reason secrets to hideĀ
Nobody knew what she's thinking insideĀ

The dark glasses covered her pretty eyesĀ
She thought that very sensible and wiseĀ
I can't see her clearly but she can see me
Hidden secrets that much I can guaranteeĀ

She got some looks from the town folkĀ
Some thought it was a prank and a joke
Dark glasses hide her from the outsideĀ
She's still got her dignity and her pride
