Romantic Dracul, nomadic 

crying gypsy weeping fire 

from cold eyes

Dreary night princes and starlets 

Princesses and harlots 

Gnashing their teeth in the night

On sugar and on fire for Sam Hain

Willowy heights

Awakened frights

Nightmares, dream delights

Dark skeletons in the closet

Secrets await

to reveal what has haunted me

They jostle in the confines

of my stolid soul,

against my granite heart

The key to the closet shines

It is time to use it 

To open

I'll be me for Halloween 

Like a king for a queen

Leaving nothing unseen

Few and far between

Are times like this

For dark skeletons

To see the light
