DARKEST BEFORE THE DAWN

It's always the darkest before the dawn 
Always has been since the day I was born
The setting of the sun is a wonderful thing
A new day happening what will it bring ?

Sure things are tough at this present time 
Compelled to write in this short little rhyme 
All things that start will always end 
A time for the earth to heal and mend

So as you face another challenging day
Think of the less fortunate is what I say
I'm grateful I can see the sky so blue
Thankful for knowing the likes of you
