darkness takes its toll

"When the whispers become scream's
only your heart can hear,
And those shadows forbid you to dance,
A mere circumstance of a life long fight ,
gives way to the darkest of night,
No stars seek to peer the clouds in envy,
Wearingly hide away ,
Forbade the light of day,
Hearts so weary loose their way ,
Lost in the darkest of ways
For nothing binds like ivy
as it poison's your very soul
Bound by thorns in company
The darkness takes its toll ".
