A dead body never tell a lie!

A dead body never tell a lie;
At the night’s mid-hours
A dead body at the hospital mortuary told me:
“Look! My hands were tied up;
That Gun is not mine!
Even, I am not aware or familiar
With those bullets at all;
Except the one which hit on me
And pierced into my own chest “
A dead body never tell a lie!
Meanwhile, I asked the dead body”
“What is life after?
Where do we go after death?
“You do not go anywhere;
Certainly not to those places,
Many of you imagine and talk about—
Heaven, Hell, Purgatory.
Those places do not exist at all..
A dead body never tells a lie!
” Do we know who we are?
When we get there?
Absolutely not! Not at all
You not only; do not even lose your identity,
But will have a much clearer;
More powerful knowing of
Who you are than you had in
own physical life, here on Earth !
A dead body never tell a lie!

Wow! This one got me thinking. Most of the time I try to avoid thinking about death. Maybe that is why I write about it so much. I use it as a defense mechanism so I don't have to think about how I will go. I do know one thing - suicide is not my answer! I just write about it - maybe searching for some closure after what happened in the past. This is an amazing poem. It makes me want to thank God that I was able to wake up today and connect with all the talented people on this site.
