Dead Man's Ballad

I've blood of gold
And tears of crimson.
An empty soul;
My heart's a prison.
A soul of steel,
And a heart of silver,
Eyes so cold,Β
They make you shiver.
Empty as an arctic wind,
Miserable as the richest men.
"Wherefore comest thee,Β
From what land?"
"I come from a cityΒ
Lost in time,
And covered in sand."
