Dear Memory II

I remember us: beauty, grace and love; and we shared the
Helm; and love soared; and such trust; and such affection.
We sailed the flames—to flit and fly; and tears—so seldom;
And passion—so red; and tender blue—our dreams; and

Shadow white—our doubts. We nurtured love, and planted
Seeds, and prune the waves, and treasured art. Our nights—
So gentle: our days—so short; and life painted flowers; and
Earth sprouted joy; and our wings—the gilt of gold; and

Our hearts, a sudden thump. Such magic: such mystic magic;
And every gem, the pleats of love; and every stone, a magic
Rune; and music: such drastic music! We cried to love; and
Feared to die; and love was true; and pain—a lie; and morning
Love, a moment keen; and life with love, a mystic dream;
And soul to bone: I vow to love; and bone to soul: a mental love.
