Dear Social Worker

Dear Social Worker

Who the hell are you to voice your thoughts so very loud?
Just another nobody among the faceless crowd.
What the fuck gives you the right to judge, dismiss, condemn?
You haven't got a clue about the person I was then.
Wolfish in your guise you came, concerned about our tale,
then you slammed the lid and now I fight the final nail!
Oh how sweet you seemed when first you came to call,
now of course I know, it's just a trick to make us fall.
Oozing empathetic care, you sipped your tea and smiled,
Hiding well, the snake that coiled within as you beguiled.
Such a fool I was that day, naively giving trust.
Unwittingly, my truths became the 'sword' with which you thrust!
It's clear you have a mission, deviation's not a choice,
but do not be mistaken, you will NEVER still my voice!
When I bore each precious child, my purpose set in stone.
All my heart belongs to THEM! No matter if they're grown.
Maybe you should stop awhile and try to understand,
you only get to dupe me once by being underhand.
So listen please........... you MUST NOT underestimate the might
of a mother when her children are behind her cause to fight!!!
