Death of a Demon

Death of a Demon

The night it ended the guilt and pain,

He traveled home keeping jackyll tame.

A split in mind meant for added upset,

The good and bad could not be unmet.

He tightened the rope to secure the end,

To fix the problems that wouldn't mend.

Doves soared past as the demon died,

Beads in pocket the good man cried.

Letter as well, explaining why,

On this last night he had to die.

His actions former, innocence ruined and deprived.

Gave his mind the reason to execute his demise.
