Death to Love

Death to Love

Fear grips me,

A pain in my heart.

So strong it's almost crippling.

My love has lied

My heart has died,

As I thought he had.

The love is gone,

Out like a light

Sputtering out so slow,

The tears in my eyes,

The pain with it comes

Strong as a force of nature.

Terrorizing my mind like a tornado on land.

What to think?

What to say?

Silence is my only defense.

I'll write til I die,

To hide the pain inside.
