Deathbed

I used to adore
gazing up
at the magnificent sunsetÂ
on those very special evenings
but that was then, when I was in love
nowadays I don't feel anything
when I see that moment of pure magic you know?
the one where the sun and all it's glorious colours
deep red fiery skies
embrace the blue
gently leaving the day behind with a smile
resting for a while
adorning to the moonÂ
I don't feel anything, I'm numb?Â
numb, as my heart is deadÂ
It's not broken in two like they tell youÂ
after love, the heart is simply dead
it beats yet it's dead
at least until a time
when we want it to reawakenÂ
from its deathbed.

'Side by Side. We will cross that great divide.' Chris de Burgh. Lovely Verse. đ
Without love the most simple and most electricly beautiful offerings of nature are worthless and dimmed, I love to indulge my own curiosity of love. Thank you so much dearest B.SÂ
This one has a sort of novelization about it, that I love. You read the title, then go through the story to find out the meaning of title. Very clever, to be sure. Well crafted.
Hello Shirley...
Some people die in their deathbed and wake up in the Morgue...
Talk about a Twist...
Surprise!
I'd like to do that but, I still choose the Hill...
Beam Me Up Scotty!
đ
I'll stay up there more than 11 minutes...
That would make me an Astronaut too?
đ
Great write!
Thank you for sharing...
