Deceiving

Deceiving

I awoke this morning with stars in my eyes.
A bit dazed, but that's no surprise.
I could tell the sun was shining,
so I ventured outside.
Coffee in hand, warmth it implied.
The blue sky reminded me of spring.
All but for one thing;
The wind it cools, leaves dancing on the ground.
When it calms, there is no sound.
The birds are not singing
to this, I wonder why!
Is a storm brewing, I see fluffy clouds strolling by.
Mother nature is so deceiving.
Flicks of snow fall, what's going on?
This is so odd, yes so wrong.
March is a curious month, undeciding
spring or winter.
"One more incursion", her spirit, she whispers.
Know that soon spring will arrive,
Trees and flowers all come alive.
