DECEMBER 12TH AND ALL THAT JAZZ

Don't skirt about the issue answer the question 
Yes or no dear politician is the only selection
I have elected you to represent my city and me 
You are in it for yourself is what it appears to be 

Politicians never seem to give a straight answer 
Years ago they would have been called a chancer  
December 12th my country will decide 
I just hope that we are not taken for a ride 

This is an opportunity to make our country great 
What will happen however is down to fate
